My experience with this firm was disappointing. Communication was poor, and meetings were often repetitive, frequently involving junior or trainee staff. I was uncomfortable with the way questions were asked about my employer, including references to individuals after the lawyer was search company information during the meetings (google) . One of my matters was dismissed due to court paperwork not being lodged on time. I was not informed of this at the time. I was later advised to sign a revised costs agreement that moved from a “no win, no fee” arrangement to fees I considered unreasonable i did not stand for it . When another matter was close to settlement, I was pressured to sign a deed of release to close all matters and any future proceedings. Overall, I found the process lacked transparency and effective case management. I would advise others to proceed with caution and not to engage. P.S. Richard indicated that you intended to leave you should leave like you said.. I also found the conduct of the principal lawyer toward staff to be distressing. The manner in which trainee lawyers are spoken to caused me significant distress and exacerbated my PTSD, requiring me to seek support help from my practitioner.
