We recently used Crouch & Co for a property settlement and had an easy, stress free settlement thanks to the experienced team. Both Tim and Melanie were very knowledgeable and guided us through the entire process. They are both excellent communicators and were very responsive with any questions we had during the settlement and even post our settlement. Mia in administration provides excellent customer service, was helpful and gives a great first impression of what the experience will be. We will be utilising more of Crouch & Co at Aspley's services for all of our legal affairs moving forward. Thank you again to everyone for your support and we will be seeing you again soon!
I used Crouch and Co to sell and purchase a property. They got the job done. However, if you’re looking for a solicitor for a property purchase I’d look elsewhere. Slow and poor communication, along with incorrect figures on settlement paperwork. They will also charge you extra for any additional communication with sellers solicitor or providing “advice”. I’ll be using someone else next time
BEWARE I have rated this business at one star, as a result of the service I received on the 6th and 7th of October 2022. I would not recommend these solicitors to YOU or anyone else. I was grossly over charged and the solicitor spoke in a unprofessional manner during my consultation. Like many people, I am more than happy to pay for a service but will not accept being ripped off. I have learnt a valuable lesson and hope to pass it on to the reader. I called the establishment requesting a 5 minute consultation, they informed me that was not possible and stated they only offered 30 minute consultations. I required Tim Crouch Jr (Solicitor) to witness and sign for two of my signatures on an Enduring Guardianship only. (This paperwork was time critical). This exercise cost me a staggering $385. That rate equates to $12.80 a minute or $770 per hour. There was no need for this appointment to take 30 minutes, however I believe I was misled into conversing about personal matters that had no relevance to the consultation. Post consultation, I was informed from our family solicitor in NSW that this price was ludicrous and at absolute most, the rate should have been one quarter this amount. Important to note, all of my paperwork was in order and had been written and proofed by two other solicitors, one in NSW and the other in QLD. As a client paying $12.80 per minute, I was repeatedly referred to as Bro and Dude. On a number of occasions, Tim Crouch Jr used curse words such as F**K and once the word C**T. The following day (7th Oct 22), I returned in person to the business to ask for a refund. Tim Crouch Jr was at lunch, so I called the mobile of the Principle, Tim Crouch Sn. (Note: Mobile number publicly available in the white pages under his business). I was very disappointed by his attitude on the phone. His attitude was present as I had inconvenienced him by calling his mobile phone during his lunch break (Time: 13:38hrs). Later that day at 1430 hrs, I had a brief meeting with Tim Crouch Jr to discuss a possible resolution. He stated he did not have the ability to offer a refund. I then notified him I would post a review on my experience. Important notes: - 1500hrs 7th Oct 22, I received an email stating that Crouch & Co Solicitors were willing to give me a $60 refund for the misunderstanding. - Minutes prior to the Consultation on 6th Oct 22, I signed a new client information and cost agreement form. Lessons learnt: - Search more thoroughly for an honest and professional solicitor.
Tim Crouch at Crouch and Co has been doing my legal work for my business for many years. I have always been impressed with his advice and sincerity, but recently I used him with a very difficult conveyancing and his attention to detail and timely input were pivotal in avoiding some rather major potential complications. I can recommend Tim and his team without reservation, they are astute and affordable.
Crouch and Co did awesome work conveyancing the purchase of our first home! Made the process simple and straightforward for us.
