Darwin Family Law helps individuals and families in Darwin and across the Northern Territory with family law, criminal law, and wills and estates. The firm began in 2013 as a family law practice and grew from there.

Partners Julian Barry and Tessa Czislowski have lived in the Top End and Central Australia for a combined 95 years. They act for people from all walks of life, from small business owners to remote community workers.

Clients can meet the lawyers face to face or talk by phone, email, Microsoft Teams or Zoom. The firm also acts for clients who live outside the Northern Territory.

The firm has one office at Level 3, 9 Cavenagh St, Darwin City NT. It serves Darwin, Palmerston, Katherine and the wider Northern Territory, including Alice Springs, Nhulunbuy and Tennant Creek. It also acts for clients outside the Territory.

Darwin Family Law handles parenting disputes, property settlement, divorce, and domestic and personal violence orders. It also offers mediation, including Family Dispute Resolution by an accredited FDR practitioner. The firm prepares wills and advance care plans, applies for probate and letters of administration, and acts in family provision claims. It also has a criminal law practice and offers conveyancing.
