David Cole Barrister-at-Law

David Cole is a Gold Coast barrister who helps people charged with criminal and traffic offences. He has over 25 years of legal experience and also assists with family matters such as parenting orders and domestic violence protection orders.

David worked as a prosecutor with Crown Law in Queensland, so he knows both sides of the courtroom. He can also advise barristers' instructing solicitors, or appear in court for them.

David's main work is criminal defence and traffic law. This includes drink driving, drug offences, assault, bail applications, police interviews and domestic violence matters. He also lists commercial and civil litigation, family court orders such as parenting arrangements, and migration and citizenship matters. David studied law at the University of Queensland and the Australian National University, and previously worked as a Crown prosecutor.
