My wife left a review but I needed to write another review for the second incident where we again used Dowling McGregor Solicitors. End of 2023 we were yet again in contact with Andrew McGregor who we initially used the year prior. This time, we were seeking full time perm care of our daughter vs DFFH vs Biological parent (a 3 way fight). Andrew represented us in the first hearing, and then Liz Dowling took over for the remainder. This duo is not to be reckoned with! Andrew already knew our case and what we were going through. We could not fault his service and therefore were returning clients (obviously). It was our first time however working with Liz. We cannot speak any highly of Andrew & Liz!! As my wife already explained Andrew’s work ethic, service and recommendation, I would like to add just how diligent, straight to the point & honest Liz was! We thought we were strapped in for a long ride and with no legal aid assistance knew it was going to be a costly ride. Liz however, literally came in, shut things down and closed the case with the magistrate ruling in our favour. She was a gun! Think “Matriarch in children’s law/court”!! Just to point out a few from many of her strengths, Liz is highly experienced, highly respected in her field, gets straight to the point there’s no mucking around, very professional, educates you and gives professional advice rather than sugarcoating or giving false hope, and can efficiently get the job done!! In a nutshell, THESE ARE YOUR LAWYERS you want when in the Children’s Court! Thank you both Andrew and Liz for helping keep my family together!
