Driving Law

Driving Law helps people charged with traffic offences in Queensland. The firm only does traffic law, from drink and drug driving to unlicensed, dangerous and careless driving, evading police and licence suspensions.

It also helps clients apply for work licences and special hardship orders, so they can keep driving for their job. Its lawyers appear in Magistrates Courts across South East Queensland and the wider region every week.

Steven Brough founded the firm in 2010. It quotes a fixed fee in writing before a client signs up, and the first call is free.

Driving Law has eight Queensland offices in Milton (Brisbane), Bundall (Gold Coast), Maroochydore, Brendale, Ipswich, Loganholme, Toowoomba and Pialba (Hervey Bay). Its lawyers appear in 26 Magistrates Courts, from Coolangatta to Bundaberg and west to Toowoomba and Gatton.

Driving Law handles traffic charges only, including drink driving, drug driving, disqualified driving, dangerous driving and evading police. It also acts on work licences, special hardship orders, high speed suspensions and removal of suspension. Fees are fixed and quoted in writing before the firm starts. The firm is a Queensland Law Society member and says it has run more than 5,000 matters since 2010.
