Hector Menendez founded the firm in 2013. Today a team of nine works from the Sydney CBD, advising owners from the first company registration through to a sale or a dispute.

The firm also drafts and reviews contracts and commercial leases, and offers monthly support plans for ongoing business advice.

H+A Legal has one office at Level 14, 70 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW 2000. It acts for businesses in Sydney, and its work in the Supreme and Federal courts also takes it beyond the city.

The firm focuses on business structuring, business sales and purchases, mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and commercial disputes such as debt recovery and contract breaches. It also drafts commercial leases, shareholder agreements and intellectual property advice, and handles estate planning and estate disputes. Fees can be fixed or hourly, and the firm sends an engagement letter that sets out the scope and costs before work starts.
