Harris Lieberman

Harris Lieberman helps individuals, families, farmers and businesses on both sides of the NSW and Victorian border with commercial, property, family, employment and estate matters.

The firm traces its origins to 1886 and has had a continuous presence in Wodonga since then. It is led by Alison Butler, who has been with the firm since 1997. In late 2025 it joined the Sather Legal Group.

Many matters cross the border, such as a business registered in one state with premises in the other. The firm handles both the Victorian and New South Wales sides of these matters.

The firm's office is at 87 Hume Street, Wodonga, Victoria, just across the Murray River from Albury. It acts for clients in Albury, Wodonga, North East Victoria and the Riverina, including Wangaratta, Beechworth, Rutherglen and Corowa.

The firm advises on commercial law, employment law, family law, property and conveyancing, and wills and estates. This includes probate, powers of attorney and estate administration. It handles both NSW and Victorian law, including cross-border property and workplace matters. Some solicitors hold specialist accreditation from legal professional bodies.
