JH Legal

JH Legal helps individuals and families in Camberwell with separation, divorce, parenting arrangements and property settlements. The firm also handles wills, probate, powers of attorney, property and conveyancing, and intervention orders.

The firm says over 90% of its work is family law. It opened in 2003 as Jones Hepworth Johns, became JH Legal in 2007 and moved to Camberwell in 2012. Karen and Eliza Jones, a mother and daughter, are the directors.

The firm aims to resolve matters with as little conflict as possible and treats court as a last resort. It does appear in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia when needed.

JH Legal has one office at Unit 3, 321-323 Camberwell Road, Camberwell, in Melbourne's east. The website presents the firm as a local Camberwell practice and does not name other areas it serves.

Family law is the firm's main work. Eliza Jones, Bronwyn Drummond and Jessica Caldwell are Law Institute of Victoria Accredited Family Law Specialists. The family law team advises on separation, divorce, property settlements, parenting, child support, financial agreements and family violence matters. The firm also prepares wills and handles probate, powers of attorney, conveyancing and intervention orders.
