I gave Angela & another Solicitor there a detailed statement on how Police had altered video evidence, I stressed that I need to Subpoena video evidence from a Hotel to prove my case against Police tampering. Angela said she would put my case with legal aid grant as an urgent matter to Subpoena with legal aid grants. However the urgency of the subpoena was never acted apon by legal aid grants. They offered Edward Yin as the Lawyer 4 weeks out from hearing & I told him in writing on appointment that I can't win my case until he Subpoenas the unaltered video evidence because of Police tampering. Edward Yin didn't move on this when I instructed him too. Yin dropped my case 4 days out from the hearing without warning or contact. Legal Aid Grants appointed Mohammed Algalele, he came to the hearing with no defence & about 2 questions for each witness. It was the worst performance I had ever seen from a lawyer in all my Life. I lost on all counts because nobody did their work properly including Legal Aid Grants which should have never approved Mohammed Algalele because he is not a specialist in Law My judgement on Burwood Legal Aid is right and true, it has to be the worst run legal aid office in NSW, they are lazy, they won't manage your case with any professionalism or attention to detail. They lost my case because they didn't make it a urgent matter to Subpoena video evidence. It's been 16 months & only now do I have a private lawyer to Subpoena the video evidence for my District Court appeal on the convictions. The Solicitors here will never have any work in private practice, they don't care to act on Subpoenas when Police act corrupt. I will be suing Burwood Legal Aid & Legal Aid Grants in Claims Court after my Aquittal in the District Court hearing set down for March 2025. Mark my words! Let you know how it goes. 😊
