I had sought Legal Guru’s solicitation service for selling my property in Canberra. Their Canberra team was highly professional, polite, and proactive and I had an excellent experience with their Canberra solicitors. When I moved to the Gold Coast I requested Legal Guru, the Gold Coast branch solicitation service to purchase a home. Unfortunately, I have had the WORST experience with Legal Guru, the Gold Coast branch since day one. They made major errors with my settlement documents and would not take any responsibility for the complications that occurred on the settlement day. Finally, I managed my settlement with the guidance of my broker, NOT solicitor. They also inputted my previous rental address instead of the newly purchased property address with the Gold Coast council. Which is why all my rates and water bill paper copy notices were going to the wrong address. Had they provided at least my email to the Gold Coast council I would have at least received my rates and water bill e-copies, but this too was not done. I therefore had to pay 5 months late penalty with my rates and water bills for major mistakes made by Legal Guru, Gold Coast branch. When I expressed my grievances, again no responsibility was taken by Legal Guru, the Gold Coast branch. In summary, I have had a terrible experience with Legal Guru (Gold Coast branch). Their Canberra branch have excellent professionals. The Gold Coast branch solicitor and their senior managers have been unprofessional, careless and irresponsible. I personally would not recommend their solicitation services to anyone in my network.
