Makinson and d'Apice have given me superb service for over twenty years. This time I have been a very demanding client for reasons beyond my control. Wife's death, a car crash, cancer and covid have made me very uncooperative for long periods but Makinsons has been very patient and picked up where we left off instantly when I came back online. Their advice has always been precise and accurate, while they have executed their action points very promptly. There are good reasons the firm has thrived for 150 years.
This law firm is hired by the NDIS to fight to keep disabled people from the medical aid they need. They play dirty, and Steven Warren currently has an open complaint against him for bullying and harassing a disabled person. Their firm is currently fighting an NDIS case in the federal court. As they are appealing a ruling in favour for the disabled person to get medical aid- from the state court. This firm is psychopathic, sick and have no soul. Shame for bullying disabled people and keeping them from the basic human right of receiving medical aid and treatment. Especially when they have ready won the NDIS case in the state court
Harrassing people with disabilities and actively standing between them and help very much needed is how this firm operates. In the middle of a Mental health epicemic. Shame. Avoid at all costs
I went to this company and interviewed Richard de Apice to assess if I would take our parents estate to them. I was given a verbal quotation of $40,000 for the company to handle it, with a timeline of 4 months. I proceeded with his word and the first $1 million cash was transferred with 3 properties to be sold. Once this firm received the money the attitude totally changed towards me, now it was in their hands. After years of nothing being done and a bill of fees over $500,000 I had to go through the Supreme Court to get rid of them and go to another firm. If your looking for a firm who will lie to you and use the law system to rob you, this is the firm for you. I’m now on unemployment and suffer major mental health issues from this experience.
Absolutely terrible service. Delayed response to emails, unacceptable speed of service when setting up loan thought ThinkTank and had no choice using this firm. Took so long initial valuation expired resulting in unnecessary cost in ordering 2nd valuation. Promise to refund 1st valuation not realised. End process in paying out loan just as poor. Do yourself a favour and avoid this firm like the plague. Can't believe we actually had to fork out money for this negligence which certainly wasn't cheap
