I have been referred to MNG lawyers by a friend who has recently purchased a home in Melbourne. I required conveyancing services to purchase my first home, and Val was quick to respond and take the case on. Unfortunately, this is when the good impression has ended. Val and MNG lawyers were fully aware that this was the first time I was dealing with purchasing a property and made zero effort to make my experience less stressful, in fact quite the contrary. Few weeks into the process I was given a very short notice that my case manager Val was departing for her “annual leave” and someone else named Simone was taking over my case in the meantime. Unfortunately, Simone was unable to handle the case in a timely manner which resulted in about 7 days delay adding to an already lengthy conveyancing. MNG lawyers have failed to effectively communicate with the bank regards the first home owners grant and the permits / certificates required for this, to the point that I haven’t been able to complete the process before settlement and still trying to obtain all the necessary paperwork (that should have been provided to the bank by my lawyers) 8 months later. I am not sure if MNG lawyers realised that this whole time I was in good contact with the sales representative who was able to obtain confirmations that the vendor has replied to all the requests from MNG lawyers within 2 or 3 business days. This lead me to a conclusion that the delay on the conveyancing lies mainly within MNG lawyers responsibility. MNG lawyers had my case for about 3.5 months. I have been able to settle the contract within 60 days as recommended, and this is the only reason why this review received 2 stars. Unfortunately, the time on top of the 60 days forced me to reside in Airbnbs for 6 weeks since I was on the notice to vacate my rental property, and the conveyancing took way longer than anticipated. In my experience, MNG lawyers is ill equipped to manage complex contracts for residential blocks and multi-storey buildings. If this is the case for you, please avoid and look elsewhere.

We recently engaged MNG Lawyers (on a recommendation) to manage the sale of our property, and couldn't have been happier with their service. The communication from Val and the team was excellent, and the whole process was efficient, accurate and seamless.

I’m writing this review in total disappointment for the service I received and if anything they made the situation worse ! Not to mention the person (Jessica) who they assigned to my situation only worked Tuesday and Thursday. So 10/10 for draining my bank account of $8000 and 0/10 for assisting with my case . Knowing that i have ill health and the stressful situation I’m going through they even failed to ask how i am !! But was clearly Happy to ask for a further $3200 invoice for doing nothing !! Nothing but a case of praying on hard working people and draining their account with nothing but empty promises.

MNG Lawyers assisted us with conveyancing to sell the family home and purchase another property. Their service was excellent – they were very thorough, dealt with issues quickly and both settlements went through smoothly. Simone was a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend MNG Lawyers.
