Reviews

Review 1 of 5

Thought I should share my honest experience about Pentana Stanton Lawyers just as I submitted an honest positive feedback for the firm that did the right thing. I reached out to Pentana Stanton on November 8th, 2024, with a lot of hope after reading several positive reviews on Google. Confident in my case and mountain of substantial evidence I had gathered, I booked a half-hour consultation with a solicitor. However, the time ran out quickly, and I had to pay for an additional half-hour consultation on the same day. It felt like I was leading the conversation which wasn't the case with a different firm. Despite presenting a significant amount of evidence, I was told my case might be weak and was advised to believe that “the Australian judiciary is biased towards employers.” Still, I followed their request to send all my evidence and followed up a few days later for an update or a clear answer on whether they would take my case. Unfortunately, my emails were ignored. I want to be clear: I have no issue with the firm deciding not to take my case. What was disheartening was the lack of communication and the failure to explicitly say no. After losing faith, I eventually reached out to another firm. They reviewed my case, took it on a no-win-no-fee basis within 35 minutes, acted within five days, and achieved the anticipated outcome. I emphasize that my review is based on poor communication and the solicitor’s dismissal of my evidence as insignificant — evidence that another firm used to secure a straightforward win.
