Stewart Law is the best Law firm in Sydney, positioned in Pitt Street I found this firm from the very beginning the experience was first class. The proprietor even greeted me on entry, a nice personal touch I thought. The Firm is very professional and I am not foreign to using Law companies around the country but I found Stewart Law to the best in advice and follow through. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for legal work, they are the best.

If legal aid gives you Andrew Stewart, ask for another h lawyer immediately, especially if it's a criminal matter, as he doesn't care if you serve time so long as he gets his 8k from legal aid he doesnt care what happens as he keeps the money regardless. Andrew Stewart sent me a bill for 1 month in march 2024, which totalled $129,000. After an official review, it was reduced to under $40,000. He gets away with this as its not an easy process to fight, I personally wouldn't trust the other reviews. It's my opinion, but they don't look genuine at all. Their website has also been under construction for over 8 months ever since i posted my original review. The reason I haven't been asked to take this down is because it's all true. I recently discovered that Stewart Law represented me in the Supreme Court without ever receiving my file from the previous lawyer because he couldn't pay him for it. Andrew Stewart even attempted to borrow money from a friend and another client to cover the funds that the firm spent without my consent. I have been forced to refer Stewart Law to the NSW legal services commissioner for their conduct to recover some of the funds that were taken without my consent for my matters.. What should have been the end of a 3-year family court matter after a 3-day hearing has only left me bleeding more money in pursuing damages for the mishandling of my case. They claim to specialise in all aspects but aren't accredited for anything. They also take money for invoices without consent, charge for 2 lawyers to attend court, take your money, and do nothing. Andrew helped himself to the funds that were mine that he held in a trust. He simply fabricated invoices and withdrew money as he pleased. Andrew has employees run your case and charge huge amounts for Andrew to supervise at a higher rate. This allowed him to go overseas on 3 occasions in under 16 months. Andrew even charged me a total of $24,000 for work done on 2 cost assessments, which both assessors disregarded our objections as Andrew supplied no narrative, so basically, I spent $24k for nothing. Andrew now refuses to return my files even though payments have been made. Don't risk it, especially if it's a financial matter; find a lawyer who's an accredited specialist.
