We had the pleasure of working with Andy and Alan, and they were absolutely amazing. Their knowledge and expertise were invaluable as they guided us through the process of purchasing our first property in Queensland. They went above and beyond to assist us and were always available to answer the many questions we had as first-time buyers. We highly recommend Thornton & King and will continue to use their services in the future. We are incredibly grateful for their support!
Andy was fantastic with our families recent property purchases. We had a longer wait to settle but Andy kept us updated on the status and next steps. As with property purchases the stress levels are high but Andy was calm and reassuring and made the process as seamless as possible. Would recommend Andy and Alan for your next property purchase.
I had a very frustrating experience with this conveyancer. The service was extremely poor, especially considering the high cost. I had to constantly review all correspondence to ensure it was correct and found multiple discrepancies. When I asked for clarification, I was met with unhelpful responses and felt like my concerns were completely ignored. I also had to pay extra for an urgent and duplicate request with the council, even though I wasn’t aware of any delays. Overall, the lack of attention to detail, poor communication, and unprofessional attitude were incredibly disappointing.
I am so very disappointed with Thornton and I would never use them again. Their lack of communication, oversights and costs were pretty bad. Then when I reached out to them on their own page; they claimed to have tried to call, yet I had no missed calls, since emailing them again, I have had no reply. I don't know what you have to do to get them to communicate. It's sad with all the technology at their disposal that a firm specialising in communicating can not reply.
Highly recommended. The team at Thornton + King was very responsive, very knowledgeable and professional. We felt extremely supported and at ease throughout the sale of our IP. Definitely engaging with the firm again for our next property acquisition/sale.
