We cannot thank enough Ben Watt for his support and guidance in successfully lodging our PR (190 PhD Streamlined Nomination in the ACT). Here is our story: I was extremely stressed about the over-claimed points in my EOI. I actually had 3.5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, but after my skills were assessed by the ACS, they deducted two years from my total experience. By mistake, I accidentally included the entire period of employment in my EOI. Initially, I contacted another lawyer for advice, and he suggested withdrawing my invitation and reapplying. However, when I asked Migration ACT, they informed me that they only issue one invitation per person per year and would not provide another invitation if I withdrew the current one.
