Michael Warland set up the firm in Cardiff in 2006. It is family owned and run. His father, James (Jim) Warland, joined as a consultant solicitor after more than 40 years as a senior partner at Reid & Reid Solicitors. The team has more than 75 years of combined experience.

Clients can book an initial consultation. The firm also acts for landlords and tenants, and for older people dealing with powers of attorney, retirement villages and aged care.

The firm has one office at 25 Marianne St, Cardiff, NSW. It acts for clients across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Cessnock, Port Stephens, the Central Coast and the Hunter Valley.

The firm handles conveyancing and property law, including contract review, strata, off the plan and auction purchases, and commercial and residential leases. It also does wills, probate and estate disputes, powers of attorney, family and de facto law, DUI and driving offences, and criminal law.

Conveyancing is solicitor-led and the website offers fixed-fee quotes. Principal Michael Warland is a member of the Family Law section of the Law Council of Australia.
