Direct Lawyers helps individuals, couples, families and executors in Brisbane and across Queensland with wills and estates. The firm works only in this area, from first wills and estate plans to probate and estate disputes.

Clients can meet a lawyer at home, at work or at an aged care facility in Brisbane, or by phone or video from anywhere in Queensland. The firm also has an office in West End.

Dion McCurdy founded the firm in 2020. He leads a small team that includes a wills and estates lawyer, law clerks and a client services officer. Most matters are quoted at a fixed fee before work starts.

Direct Lawyers has its office at The Greenhouse, Level 4/97 Boundary St, West End, Brisbane. Its lawyers travel to clients across Brisbane for in-person appointments. Clients elsewhere in Queensland can meet by phone or video call.

The firm works only in wills and estates. This covers will drafting, estate planning, testamentary trusts, enduring powers of attorney, advance health directives, probate, letters of administration and estate disputes such as family provision claims. Principal Lawyer Dion McCurdy has practised in this area since 2013 and has contributed to international legal texts. Estate planning packages start at $1,500 for individuals and $2,250 for couples, and most matters get a fixed-fee quote.
