Douglas Hoskins Legal

Douglas Hoskins Legal helps people in Adelaide with family law and wills and estates. Clients come to the firm for separation and divorce, parenting and property matters, and for estate planning and estate administration.

Shona Hoskins and Jim Douglas formed the firm in 2012. Bree Burns became a partner in 2018 after Jim retired. Shona and Bree lead a team of lawyers, paralegals and support staff.

The firm is an incorporated legal practice. Its lawyers know these matters are often emotional and stressful, and they aim to guide clients through them as smoothly as possible.

Douglas Hoskins Legal has its main office at 333 Brighton Road, North Brighton. A second office at 24 Halifax Street in the Adelaide CBD is open by appointment. The firm serves clients across Adelaide.

The firm works in family law and in wills and estates. Family law work covers property settlement, parenting matters, divorce, consent orders, spousal and child maintenance and financial agreements. Estate work covers wills, powers of attorney, advance care directives, guardianship, probate, estate administration and estate disputes.
