Duggan Family Lawyers

Duggan Family Lawyers helps individuals and families in the Northern Territory with separation, divorce, parenting and property matters. It is a boutique family law firm in the heart of Darwin.

Director Michelle Duggan was admitted to the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory in 2014 and has practised only in family law since 2017. Lawyer Claudia Da Silva Vidigal also acts for clients in family law and domestic violence matters.

The firm also prepares wills and acts in domestic violence matters for protected persons or defendants. Michelle volunteers free legal advice at the Darwin Community Legal Service and the Top End Women's Legal Service.

Duggan Family Lawyers has its office at 20/18 Harry Chan Avenue in Darwin City. Clients can also meet by phone or video. Michelle Duggan travels to Katherine once a month and serves clients across the Northern Territory.

The firm works in family law, including parenting arrangements, property settlements, divorce, child support and court proceedings. It also prepares wills and handles domestic violence matters for protected persons and defendants. It does not advise on Binding Financial Agreements.

Clients can choose a free Legal Aid referral appointment of up to 60 minutes, a Law Society First Interview Scheme appointment for $99, or a private initial appointment of up to one hour for $200. After hours appointments are available on request.
