Eaglegate

Eaglegate acts for businesses, founders, executives and private clients across Australia in commercial, technology and intellectual property matters. It also runs disputes, including shareholder disputes, fraud and data theft claims, and urgent injunctions.

The firm was founded in 2018 by Nicole Murdoch, a technology, data and IP lawyer who worked in engineering before law. Its lawyers have backgrounds in IT, engineering, finance and toxicology, so they can follow the technical detail of a matter.

Matters are principal-led, with senior lawyers involved from the first call. Eaglegate has been listed as Doyle's Guide Recommended from 2020 to 2026.

Eaglegate has its office at Level 5, 82 Eagle Street in the Brisbane CBD. It acts for clients across Australia, with a focus on Brisbane and Queensland, including in the Federal Court and the Supreme Court of Queensland.

Eaglegate's main work is corporate and commercial law, technology law, intellectual property, and litigation and dispute resolution. It also acts in reputation and privacy matters and in fraud and cyber crime. Nicole Murdoch is a registered trade marks attorney and a Fellow of the Institute of Patent and Trade Marks Attorneys of Australia. The firm offers free consultations.
