Tasc Community Legal Centre

Tasc Community Legal Centre gives free legal, advocacy and social work help to people across regional Queensland. It is an independent not-for-profit funded by government, and it has worked in the region for over 40 years.

Its clients include older people, people with a disability or mental health condition, people at risk of domestic violence or homelessness, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. People who do not meet Legal Aid criteria are welcome to get in touch.

Solicitors advise on family law, child protection, domestic violence, elder law, driving and traffic matters and civil disputes. Advocates help with tribunals, Centrelink, NDIS and tenancy issues.

Tasc's head office is at 223 Hume Street, Toowoomba. It also has offices in Ipswich, Hervey Bay, Gympie, Roma and Goondiwindi. It serves regional, rural and remote Queensland, and its solicitors run outreach visits to towns such as Tara, Miles and Chinchilla.

Tasc's solicitors help with family law, child protection, domestic violence, elder law, driving and traffic matters, and civil disputes such as fence and neighbour issues. Its advocates support people with disability and mental health issues, tenancy problems, Centrelink and NDIS matters, and National Redress Scheme applications. The Seniors Legal and Support Service gives older people legal advice, social work and financial protection help. All services are free.
