vbr Lawyers
About
vbr Lawyers helps people injured in road, work and public place accidents, and people with asbestos or silica disease, claim compensation. It also acts in medical negligence, institutional abuse, industrial deafness and superannuation insurance claims.
The firm was founded in 2017 by three directors who had worked together at a larger compensation firm. It is deliberately smaller, and says experienced lawyers run its claims, not paralegals or juniors.
vbr Lawyers acts on a no win, no fee basis. Its website says the firm has won awards and that four of its lawyers were recognised in the 2026 Doyle's Guide Queensland rankings.
Geographic Focus and Office Locations
vbr Lawyers has offices in Brisbane City, Corinda, Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast, Robina and Ipswich in Queensland. It also has offices in Melbourne and Sydney.
The Gold Coast office is at Level 1, 47 West Burleigh Rd, Burleigh Heads. The firm says its lawyers can travel to meet clients, including for dust disease claims across Australia.
Notable Expertise or Industry Focus
The firm works only in compensation law. Its work covers road accidents, work accidents, public place injuries, whiplash, medical negligence and superannuation insurance claims for total and permanent disability.
It also acts in asbestos disease, silicosis, industrial deafness and institutional abuse claims. The firm works on a no win, no fee basis.

Reviews
The team at VBR are wonderful not your average law firm We have had dealings in the past with lawyers unfortunately who did not come even close to their promises. We have been dealing with Zach and his team for the past 3 years they totally exceeded our expectations. Not only extremely professional but caring to us as people not just a $ amount. I would not go anywhere else in the future and recommend them highly. Thanks so much for the great support and advice you gave us. The outcome was far better than we anticipated
